Dude, just cancel. They not going to fix it. May as well find another ISP.
Vox? Been there, done that, dude it was crap, almost as bad as CISP is now... but I always got the impression that they were trying to assist. The hoops they jumped through for me....?!! Nah, dude, Vumatel is 70% of the problem here and they the new Helkom. Have you tried dealing with their support staff?? I actually have more confidence in Openserve!!

Think it's time to switch to Openserve. At least then one has the option to switch between more than one ISP. Pricier though.

There’s plenty of ISP’s to choose from. I haven’t had to deal to Vumatel thankfully. Unfortunately Vuma Aerial is all I have in my area. I pay CISP, so CISP needs to sort sh#t out. I don’t care whose fault it is. I pay R1500 per month to CISP. This is their problem. They must fix it or lose a customer.

Hey guys, been browsing this thread for the last hour reading the issues. I'm having huge packet loss issues and wouldn't you know it, CISP support is closed for the evening. On a Friday Night. In 2018.

I want to switch my provider - is this doable right now, and I mean RIGHT NOW, on the Vumatel portal?

try bitco for personal

I was with Rocketnet before this... only issue was the buffering... was as bad as i have experienced with CISP but it annoyed me. Others in my complex have said they have also experienced the buffering with rocketnet but its alot better now... my bro is with cellc and has no issue... does experience minimal buffering.. but seem good... only issue is the contract, but i guess if it works then no problem with a contact

Considering moving back to Web Africa and Openserve. Was rock solid before with them my old house. I notice some complaints about them but I hardly had any issues and of those, nothing that was significant.

Also unstable here in North Riding, packet loss, Black Ops 4 keeps saying connection interrupted....

My rd is working perfectly tonight. Can’t complain about anything

Twitch has been flawless tonight. Can't complain either.

Most likely the Vumatel GPON network falling on it's face again. Wouldn't be surprised. The management for that network is horrible.

Vumatel AE - Cape Town
