No internet in van Riebeeck Park, Kempton Park.

Vuma says nothing wrong with line - Cool Ideas Support closed... (only been with them for 2 weeks and already the first issue - do other ISP's have call centres open on weekends?)

Cool ideas has only been down twice for me since I started my service in June. But I agree, I think after hours support services need to be improved.

Are there any issues with Cool Ideas connection in Esther Park, Kempton Park. Just spoke to Vumatel and they say no issues but I have been down for an hour plus?
Frustrating not being able to contact Cool Ideas Support!

Yeah, especially if they've grown as much as I suspect they have.

The experience doesn't really help new members.

I've gone from no ISP issues on ADSL last month, to ISP issues on Fibre this month, while having to pay for both

I was used to having issues almost everyday on ADSL. So I'm greatful.

Hopefully it's just an anomaly.

Hey guys

Seems like there's an issue with Openserve again. Seeing high latency in the Pretoria East area. Local connections that normally have an avg latency of 7ms is now on 120ms. Speedtest.net doesn't even load the bandwidth test tool. Testing the line using other means shows about 2Mbs and 25% packet loss on which should be a 20Mbps line. Does anyone know if Openserve could be broken again?

Thanks.

Similar experience - ADSL was slower and ping higher, but very rarely down - maybe once or twice a year.

Hope Fibre won't be down regularly.

Thanks to all for reporting it's back up - I'm back upp too.
