Have you given Premiumize.me a thought ? I bought one month - and so far its quite good. You can choose the location where you stream from manually, or leave it on auto to select the best node based on where you connect from.

I had Premiumize when I was using Kodi but I don’t use Kodi anymore. I tried it again but it’s just not as friendly as Cyberflix and it’s also slower to load.

I have no issues on my side with cyberflix , cool ideas has actually been the best with RD for me so far, I use mx player and stream 5.1 channel links and I let it buffer for about 2 or 3 minutes and after that no issues watching the movie

During the last week or two we are experiencing high latency to Akamai CDN on a 50Mbps DFA Business fibre connection. This content is normally served from Akamai edge servers in JHB, but is currently routing to Europe or Brazil:

Well 5 weeks since reporting my packet loss issue and I can report, with absolute confidence, that sweet f all has changed!!

Just mind boggling to me that despite the collective resources of 2 telecoms giants, something as mundane as packet loss has taken 5 weeks (and counting) to resolve.

Still running smooth on RD. The one thing which im not sure if it's CI.. youtube battles to play sometimes. It gets stuck after a few seconds. Refreshing page fixes it in most instances.

As mentioned Vumatel has come back stating fibre levels are fine therefore they don't want to do anything about it. So we now have to play the process of elimination so ONT swap is the first step which they should have already reached out for.

That's the last correspondence I've had with support! Monday morning! No one has contacted me regarding the ONT.

At this point I'm just going to put this out there and say to anyone who watches twitch, stay away from cisp.
Come 6.30pm and it's just non stop buffering until midnight. Absolutely useless as far as I'm concerned.
If this changes i'll update this post.

Well, just afer 7pm and my Twitch is going like a boeing in 1080p without any issues on my PC.

Via my Mi Box, the same buffering persists, so I'm led to believe that it's because of the Wifi on the device for 1080p. On my server PC its also fine now via Wifi, so its definitely something related with the Mi Box. So, it doesn't seem to be a CISP issue then.

I'm going to swop to my Vox account now and try it out. I'm going to play around with the settings on my router, I have a feeling there is one setting that might be the culprit, will keep you guys posted.
