Ah I see. You want a better carrier over WACS. Appreciate the clarification.
Yeap most definitely, SAT3 restored earlier and WACS just restored. Moving capacity back gradually.

Jip thanx, have seen those. Ok, both my applications to Vumatel and CISP are in, heehaaaaa. That day I can disconnect the ADSL I'm opening a bottle:D

So my vumatel installation is booked for tomorrow:whistle:, I have paid for my Router from CISP, when can I choose my service, and how long for delivery ?

Did you purchase a router from us? Once the line is in you can order the package immediately.

Kewl you just need to plug in the router, then browse to any site. You will be redirected to the Vumatel portal, from there you register with them and order the service then in about 15mins you should be live :)

Gtreat! how do I track where my router is?

DFA Parkview, Jhb

I applied for FTTH on the 18 August 2017. According to cool ideas I am on the DFA backbone. I am in a complex with an ONT installed. Problem is that I have yet to hear from DFA. No one has made contact with me to activate the fibre. Is this normal?

Hi John, yes Cape Town seems to be routing via a slighly higher latency cable system, so this would be either SAT3 or Seacom, I have logged it with upstream to enquire why this may be.

I'm still getting +50-80ms than usual on my gaming latency. Based in CT too.

Drop a mail to [email protected] requesting an update.

Howdy, My line got installed on Friday last week. Am now sitting with a status of "Pending ONT Discovery". How long does this normally take?

It usually takes 48 business hours, drop me a PM with your account details and I can push it forward.

Can you give me some examples? IPs would be great.

IP: 152.111.192.241
CPT TS3 Server also quite high latency through CI in CPT
