I am but i don't think its a wireless issue as it has been running fine the past couple of months except the last couple of days. I'll need flatmate to be back to test it cabled as I'm away from router. Generally, I get a stable 150ish ms to EU servers. Now its around 230ms~ and experiencing some packet loss.

Yeah wireless often has this affect, only cable can give a true reflection. Wireless is a dynamic medium so the environment changes.

Jeesh, that's quite a high ping for wireless.
Have you checked if there is conflict? Check with https://www.techspot.com/downloads/5936-inssider.html on a Windows device

Quick noob fibre question but is it feasible to get a direct line rental with Openserve and then an ISP account with CI?

Also, is there a big cost difference?
 
Strange JHB Ping is 28ms but CPT is 48ms like almost going through JHB and coming back to CPT again this is on OpenServe hopefully just a minor issue for now! at least speed is still great

ISPs get lines from Openserve, to manage it separately attracts a separate cost. Whereas combined it makes better business sense.

Yeah IPC on CT has been broken for a few days and we've escalated it as far as we can, OS are terrible in general with this kind of thing.

First hop to router suggests so
Well not really first 3 packets can have great latency which you are at hop 1, then depending on the wireless provide random results further.

I'm using the TP LInk Archer C2 router, but the 5Hz wifi signal keeps on disappearing?

What will the best settings on this router be for Xbox 360 online gaming, as the stats (wired) I got yesterday was very bad:
Latency = 300ms
Packet loss = 1%
Upload = 1.33Mbps
Download = 22,4Mbps

This is on a 100/10 line, rest of my speed tests are fine , just the xbox, or is this the wrong thread for this?

Having the same issue, well sorta. Can't connect to the 5Ghz AP from more than 1 wall away and even then it gives some issues on certain devices where the speed will just tank and latency spikes.

Im actually using an additional router for wireless atm, because the 2.4Ghz AP on the thing also seemed pretty weak when running in dual mode.
