One thing I am starting to notice here is that we have all these problems but CISP seem to not see them. I am suspecting that most of these FTTH providers are simply over-capacity or just plain stuffing us around with cheapskate equipment.

BTW it also seems I am trouble getting MyBroadband to load pages now, like others have mentioned.

Son is complaining that Youtube is now giving hassles

Exactly what i have said time after time, my line is literally 100% fine no matter what i throw at it. As displayed up i have perfect speedtest in peak when others are only getting 5% of their speed on int traffic.

Kyalami CISP Metro Fibre but im on a AH section so usage is min from my neighbors plus we super spaced out 7 Acres etc compared to my mate in dainfern who literally gets kak speed all the time no matter the ISP due to congestion.

I'm so tired of it mate. Every evening stuff seems to catch on fire because of how bad congestion is yet no one seems to know how or why its happening. For months this has been happening.

My friend in JHB is on TTconnect of all providers. Everyone makes fun of that company because of how bad they are. His line completely dies at least once a month for a whole day. The other 30 days of the month he has absolutely flawless internet. No congestion, no packet loss, no issues streaming anything. Nada.

I don't know what it is about the networks that get built here but they're always the same. Speaking from experience as someone who's gone through 356k dialup all the way to 20mb VDSL and more ISP's than I can stuff into my pants Its always the same. Things get congested down here, and no one knows why so nothing ever gets done about it.
