Well, I never got around to this due to being quite busy, and now I want to do it, load shedding keeps hitting and I am gone for the long weekend so will only be able to open ~Monday for ~Tuesday. /sigh

I don't think that server will respond to pings. The final hop of 4.69.133.222 (level3) is US, probably central as I have ~230ms ping.

I see, well in any case there is definitely an issue with cisp international possibly still the effects of the DDOS.

The DDoS spiller into CPT as well for a while, but has passed.

It's only the last hop that you care about, as the others might be dropping on purpose.

Not in this case, this is actual packetloss.

Unless CISP suddenly started to drop gateway traffic within the last hour since it was never the case until now.

I guess that is possible, would just like confirmation.

That said it is obvious there is packetloss as can be seen in the following mtr on international traffic. This is why I looked into this because remote sessions kept timing out and freezing.

Oh that would explain it, I saw brief response about it few replies earlier from PBCool but it noted that the DDOS ended.

Anyhoo all seems fine again.

Loss along a path is insignificant and quite normal, it's to the destination that is significant. From your last post it looks like loss across your LAN.

This is an international based DDoS, and it's not out of our control :).
 
Been asking for a while if anything can be done / looked at with Origin downloads / updates. They're ridiculously slow.

Edit: There's a 3gb update to Apex Legends out. I'm currently getting 625kb/sec.
