My trace above is from the saix route server to cisp. Causes high latency.

Confirm that we seen latency and packet loss earlier this evening. But seems to have recovered now.
The switches COS seen as flapping also related to that.

Will investigate further and get back to you with additional information. Most likely tomorrow Monday.

For some reason I didn't receive the invoice for this month via email (that was generated on 09/30), but I see in the client area it is there.

Just a headsup in case something went wrong. Will pay it now regardless.

Edit: at least the confirmation of payment came through. still not sure what happened to the invoice notification.

Which provider?

We wouldn't be told when the line is being installed. As part of the signup you get a welcome email that asks if you can email [email protected] when you know would know when.

Drop me a PM if you have any issues.

@PBCool Does CISP shape P2P downloads during working hours? I used to get 10MB/s at any given time on CW and now very well seeded torrents are just about dead.

Kind of similar - I submitted my bank details for the first month's pro-rata debit and when I checked (by accident) in the client area, I see September (month 2) was unpaid. I paid that one manually again - hope Cool Ideas debit automatically from now.

How important is having default DNS settings? I'm using Google's atm.

You should only use Googles DNS if it's a last resort, as you will skip all the on-net CDNs.

thanks, have done so.

The payment method on the invoice says automatic debit order so not sure why it's unpaid - let me know if there's detail missing that I forgot to provide or something.

Actually this is not true anymore (it used to be the case).

With google supporting edns flags, you still get the on net content. See I get CISP Akamai!

Thanks for the info. I changed to the default anyway. Maybe there are other considerations that make it more optimal for CISP customers.
