SACS will only go live once their DC is built in Fortaleza, ETA was this month but I suspect at least next month.

Will this make it possible for other ISP's to use the cable? Or just CISP

I logged a fault now but wanted to check if there is a known issue on openserve in Ballito? Local speedtest down is under 1mb up is 10mb.

Resolved after getting a 155 ip instead of 102.

Yes, as normal Octotel just goes junk between 6PM and 10PM... Kinda fed up with them.

IF all else fails power down your ONT + Router for 5 minutes and it should get a different IP from what i have seen.

This is average EU download speeds (per day), 2 tests (multi-connection) to diff servers every 15 minutes between 18:30 and 21:30 for the last 42 days.
Steady downward trend...

Tried that, also tried another router and I get the same ip, sigh I guess it's early to bed tonight will have to start a conversation with the wife

Just checked again and something magically fixed my single thread throughput so twitch is working again.

We're utilising more IS transit in JHB which gives more access to our Cape Town layer2. We shouldn't have to do this so have a call scheduled with one of our carriers tomorrow.

Sorry to ask a dumb question but what do you mean? Were you routing JHB customers through CPT for international?

Does this mean the problem is not with Octotel if Cool Ideas changed something their side and now all of a sudden we can stream?
