International is pathetic, cannot load a page without having to wait. Streaming is impossible. I do not know who to blame anymore. It works perfectly for a couple of weeks, then totally useless again.
I was under the impression Octotel fixed the probkem.

@PBCool I want one of those boxes for testing please. It cannot go on like this.

I switched on my laptop with my expressvpn, and tested twitch before and after, without the vpn cannot stream anything, change over to vpn and streaming perfectly. My conclusion is this, we are being forced to use local. By whom, I dont know.

Maybe all the people with bandwidth issues should get a VPN trial to see if this solution works for them. In which case people will need to ask about the network rules that are causing this issue.

DSTV Live vs DSTV catch-up use different services, Live uses Akamai which we have a cluster on our network. And catchup uses their own servers, if you are seeing packetloss locally then it's the fibre provider again more than likely. I don't believe Octotel are complete with their changes

Seriously?! Look at my post above. Well I'm glad that you guys have ample capacity and a functioning network but this does not help mine and others issues at all! We can't deal with the FNOs like we used to back in the old Telkom ADSL days so our hands are tied.

I do appreciate the transparency, so thank you for that. I guess Vumatel in CPT are dealing with congestion issues then?
