Great, I can't watch Netflix anymore. Thanks CISP.
This isn't something that is done on purpose so please allow me to investigate and try to resolve for you. Is this also since the last SADV outage?

Streaming 4K just fine.

MTR does look weird though:

Have you tried with another device possibly? And is your device that is downloading also cabled into your router?

I haven't tried with another device, but it was working fine before I moved to CI. It is a wired connection to the router.

People in the Netflix thread reporting some servers are down for maintenance. Changing from Getflix to access US content to regular SA content gets it working again.

I'm accessing SA Netflix so maybe that's why mine works.

Try plugging your PC into the ONT and creating your PPPoE connection from your PC.

Tried and also not able to get onto Apple.com. Definitely some sort of caching somewhere. Trying to work out what's going on.

I was using my TP-Link router but after swapping to the one you guys sent me (also a TP-Link 750) the problem persists.
Thanks for the feedback, have you logged a ticket for me. If you haven't please do and let me know the ref.

I don't think it's caching, have you tried from another device like your phone?

I'm going to leave it with the default CISP DNS server (154.0.1.1) overnight and see if anything clears up. Sounds like there's other folks experiencing intermittent issues here too so hopefully it's something odd that gets resolved on its own.

Cheers for the help PBCool, even with all the posts coming at you, do appreciate your help.

Yeah I've got desktop, mobile (iPhone 7s) and Macbook Pro. As soon as I set DNS to the default values I can't load apple.com but as soon as I switch back to 8.8.8.8, it loads as normal.

Sorry, had a bad day.

Seems to be better now. All of the websites that I could not reach are now working.

For reference, the following sites were completely unreachable for me before recently:
quora.com
marksdailyapple.com
tripadvisor.com and .co.za
tumblr.com
The netflix app worked but streaming did not. I could stream on youtube.

Anyway, it all seems better now. Thanks PBCool.

Yes I'd say about since the SADV outage ended.

So was just updating Overwatch using the battle.net launcher and even it was showing a flashing network error icon.

Yes so that's a common issue then not a particular issue with iTunes. Thanks for the ticket no.
