Jirre dude. Just use the fkn line for what it was intended and stop worrying about epeen
You didn't pay for 200mbps single thread transfers.Indeed. And my whole question is about am I getting the "line" I paid for.
Yeah go to Speedtest.net change server, enter London for instance.I know you know that - my question was sort of based on if that is the furthest out I can get, what are international speeds like.
How do we get genuine speed tests is my ultimate question. Bouncing around inner Western Cape is not warming my innards as to true speed.
Drop me a PM with the request WaylanderCould I get a test account for my parent's Vox 100Mbit Openserve line please? Seems something might be wrong... Meanwhile my 200/200 CIAP Vuma is flying.
Lol you know this is nowhere near abusive for me.Why thank you - just saw the "change server" part before. See, no need to get abusive![]()
London generally gives best results.Vodafone Frankfurt - 159ms/96/6

The best result is what counts. There are so many potential bottlenecks in the internet that if you can get a good result to anywhere, your isp is good, and bad results to other places indicate issues on the internet between your isp and that place.I'm sure. Which is why I do a spread.

Fire up some torrents, or multiple connections to a premium news server.
Do some readup on TCP window scaling, basically this is what limits your throughput on higher latency networks. Also why your upload to higher latency would be so poor from a Windows based PC.Interesting you mentioned London.
144ms/172/18 - is this ok in terms of Cools Ideas expected response? Genuine question; the upload seems cool.
More though:
Mumbai India -386ms/44/2
Rome - 175ms/98/11
Dublin - 160ms/75/7
All searching for Vodafone

You think a South African isp can guarantee that the line between Mauritius and the African mainland isn't saturated, for example? Now, taking your post at face value, this is something that needs to be mentioned.
