To all those wonder about FUP on CI!
Just had a little look on my end and over 18 days i have used 2.2TB
thats 130GB per day and i haven't been slowed down or had any issues what so ever!

I love my 100 Mbps on Vumatel Cape Town trenched - I am getting good speed tests, good international download speeds, awesome Netflix, I can stream 4K YouTube videos without issues etc.

But Twitch pause and buffers constantly when I try to stream in HD :-( What is up with that?

On the subject of IP's, I notice before the CT peering I had my IP for going on 3 weeks, and since the CT peering I've had the same IP.. even after being disconnected for close to 20 hours.

how long do we keep our IP's?

Change your DNS server and check the hops it uses to get to live.twitch.tv

it will maybe jump to RIO which is why you could be having issues, best would be to use the CISP DNS which will route you to France.

The CISP DNS is 154.0.1.1 & 154.0.1.10

[MENTION=394133]PBCool[/MENTION] I have found the problem with my twitch, and it is lying with my router. My router has a built in firewall, which I have activated, as it protects against ddos attacks. This firewall does not work well with twitch, and causes a slow down.
