Upgrade has been done.

Thank you very much. We've received updates on the ticket as well confirming the upgrade to 50Mbps. However from the speedtest results, the speeds are still around 10Mbps (as if there is some sort of policy in place throttling the speed at 10Mbps as it just stops around 9.3-9.5Mbps and doesn't go higher or lower). An agent has confirmed that SADV has completed the line configuration, however the issue still persists. The details can be found in this ticket: COOL-20180713-123566. Please can you assist. Thanks.

And you're testing with a cable? Profile is right on our side so if so, we will need to go back to SADV again unfortunately :(

Seems I'm hard limited at 20mb/s compared to my regular 40mb speed - Been the last few days, only noticed it now. - Logged ticket #COOL-20180714-123734

If it's all the time it's probably packet loss on your line, can you PM me your ticket number?

Ran the test this morning, the uk speedtest was fine. It could be time related. What is considered peak time? I have the issue from 5pm to midnight.

Hard to say what time is peak time on Vumatels network, but on Weekends anything from 5PM until around midnight sounds about right.

MFN upgraded our NNI as they say there are no issues on their side but clearly there is, we have a Netflix cluster on net so it's a last mile issue.

Okay, thanks. So what's the next step. When can i expect this to be resolved?

Next step is going back to MFN for feedback which I have already done. Obviously congestion on that portion of their network.

Getting some slow dl speeds from a server overseas.

Not a big deal. Anything on your dashboards from Vuma in Brackenfell area? I've seen their trucks in the area so they are likely splicing and bringing more areas online.

No notices from Vumatel, we have had a few reports in Brackenfell of late which looks to be some sort of congestion.

This looks like a cross patch then, are you on Vumatel Trenched? Just update your ticket with this as well and we will need to have Vumatel investigate.

Trenched with Netstream, who don't even have Afrihost as a provider option.

Seems that whatever was happening is fixed though; http://www.speedtest.net/result/7472655867

(Though apparently nobody's done anything)

The same again, did you find out something? Like that it's absolutely useless for me ...

Haven't had any further feedback unfortunately. As soon as I do I'll post it.
