Cool Ideas Fibre ISP - Feedback

I can't even download Nvidia drivers this morning.

Can't the Cool Ideas website be changed so that I can just check if there is ANY Fibre coverage in my Suburb (before I have to select the fibre provider)?
 
Want to sign up for Cool Ideas Voip. On Wed, tried do online, the portal is aimed at new customers. I'm an existing customer wanting to add VOIP to my account. Phoned CI, spoke to Nicky who advised I email support with a request for the relevant application forms to be mailed...get all sorts of generic replies...send more emails...same result...it is now three days going around in circles, have got no further than where I was on Wed 24th. Is Voip still available at CI? I know there are good free Voip providers Freshphone, Swithtel but I am a believer that free might not be..@PBCool, please help...latest ticket..#COOL-20181025-164475 - VOIP service.

Any of you CISP guys streaming to Twitch without any issues? IF so, what is your set up like and who is your provider?

I am currently in Durban using Vumatel on CISP's 200/200 package.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Try using the cisp custom server instead of the london ingest server

Send me a message with what issues you are having and what setup you are using and i'll help you out ^.^

I stream to Twitch without any issues using the Twitch Ingest Relay

Yeah - that's not Cool. I get about 3-4 MB/s and occasionally it will burst to 5 and maybe briefly touch 6 downloading Nvidia Drivers, but @ 3-4 MB/s - that's not even 1/2 my full line speed. I don't know what to make of it. Maybe that's just how it is - but yours is deffo not right !

Maybe we should also pay like this : R100 ..............R300.....................R500 .............R2............R1...........R1...........R1.............R450...

It is being used to very few ip ranges in north and south america atm. On speedtest you can check atlanta (speedtest.net server) and ashburn (GigeNET), those ones show a difference.

I pulled a nvidia driver the other day within the app and it went at 10.5MBps on my 100mbps line. Was a day ago I think

Yeah, its a bit hit and miss at the moment it seems. After the Nvidia driver coming down at about 4, i did another download from somewhere completely different and that came down at 10, so it's very random, and i guess dependent on the source, but one would have thought that Nvidia would be full speed for everyone...
 
Got the same issue. I seldom get anything more than 2-3mb when downloading UK nvidia drivers. Ironically if I download the US ones they absolutely fly, 7-10mb easy. No idea why its like it but I don't think its related to CISP.
 
Cool Ideas support - how long turnaround time on tickets opened on website? Been waiting more than 24 hours without a response....

Within 3 to 5 days they will update the ticket asking for you to redo any tests you submitted when opening them.

By then your problem will be resolved.

You will receive no other communication.
