testmy.net does that for you, even with manual sizes and single or multi thread
We are testing from the source dude ! That link is given to us by RD themselves to test our speeds to their services. Test.my is not going to test that for me. We are not testing general speed.

Also very interesting that the CISP site under the network status shows posts made on the 14th when today is the 13thcisp.jpg

@Looney - Try to download this and tell me what speed it comes down at. Then we will try it again later tonight.

This has become a mission for me and I want to find out what the issue is here....

Also - if anyone knows of a buddy out there that has fibre - but not with CISP - give them that link and ask them to report the download speed. Give as much detail as you can i.e

Thats cool - just need about 2 mins so it can get up to speed - that's a good speed actually - can easily stream 4K with that

@PBCool vumatel installed the CPE and I am getting an orange light on it. the vumatel home page comes up when i connect my computer to it. What should I do next ?
I understand u need to send a router to me but in the meantime can I connect using a Lan cable ?
So tempted to click, if I am getting this page why can't I connect to the internet right now. This is the same package I signed up for, so if I click activate it shouldn't be a problem right ?
I just don't want to break anything

Can game at the moment to UK but feels off, like packet loss. Is this a bad loss percentage?

Download winmtr and do a complete trace to see where the packet loss is.
For comparison, I get 0% to that same ip address:

On trenched you should sign on that link you have the screenshot from.
For the CISP site, you just register an account to the same email address you sign up on shop.vumatel.co.za, then they load the package there after you ordered it on shop.vumatel.co.za

And there goes the connection again.... FFS, halfway through a deathmatch every bladdy time....

Because you are not activated yet you can only reach that Vumatel portal.
Click to activate, it can take from 15 minutes to a few hours.
