Cool Ideas Fibre ISP - Feedback

Why? Because 8 years ago when I moved into my flat we had no fibre, my easiest and cheapest connection was wireless to my ISP's nearest tower, and that is a mere 300 metres away, maybe less.

Since 'fibre' rolled out everyone moved to it. Except for me coz I don't roll like that. Guess what? For last 2yrs I am the only phucker still on the wireless tower enjoying full bandwidth :ROFL:. ISP has asked me to go fibre and it is now literallly on my side of the lounge and I say No Thank You :) I rather be the only man on this wireless tower with no contention ratio. Bliss

lol my internet was working perfectly fine, had no issues. The passed month or so? Questionable.

If you think you're gonna get an ISP without callcentres then good luck!

No idea bru. You went with fibre, latest tech. I tend to stick back and enjoy others being the Guinea Pig. That's how I roll. I Never Ever go for version 1.

I laugh and say EXACTLY, version 1 is kak.

Now like here with fibre that you guys have been enjoying for the last few years. It is great I admit, but everyone is climbing onto it. Making my airwaves open :) Thank You

How’s rocket net? It’s not the call centers, it’s the uselessness of the agents. Nothing has been done, I told them I’m going to change isp if the issue is not resolved by the end of today or at least some response.

RN is fine, perfectly happy with them... but if you're gonna jump ship at every sign of incompetence then good luck. No one is perfect.

You get better quality streams, most in full surround sound... also 4k content

To the OP - have you considered that it might not be a CoolIdeas issue? What network are you on? Vumatel?
I've been with Coolideas for the last 12 months. Zero complaints


That's my speed over a WiFi connection to the router. Its been like this all year.

As someone mentioned; a lot of people on these forums have similar experience to me without complaints. So I would perhaps do a bit more than just a bitch thread - you say you have no time to sort the issue out, but you got time to sit online and bitch about it?
Doesn't add up.

Cool Ideas is more than a couple months old. If you have only had Fibre for a few months.. you obviously haven't been with them from the beginning.

I smell BS.
