It has been death with, the suggestion was to swap to MTN, MTN SIM card is on the way.

I would've stayed on Vodacom. IMHO I think it's the better network out of the two.

It is area dependant.

On my side it's working and then the very next speed test not. It's coming and going every few mins.

Random performance issues since their core failure. May be MTU related.

I also have been having these same problems from Saturday. It's kind of weird. Trying to connect to or load a page will fail several times but once you're connected it's fine. So it's very bad for browsing because pages fail to load but I can stream Twitch with no problems once the page loads.

Just received a call back from Vodacom (I had logged a ticket with them too). They say the problem, in my case, is with the tower. They are working to resolve the issue. No time given when the issue might be resolved, however.

It could have been an additional issue to the one currently ongoing. Glad they are aware of the tower issue too
Will report back once VC has confirmed the other issue is also sorted.

I'm still struggling a long. I work on internal online excel spreadsheets and the ping goes from a stable 20-30 ping to 10 000-12 000ping just imagine every few minutes.

Yup the ongoing 5G CISP issue.

When Vodacom had the outage it affected all 3rd party APNs (we are told) after their changes we dont really know.

My connection has never been the same since that outage last year. If it carries on like this, I'll be forced to jump ship.

No the current issue is related to their recent issue, not from last year.
