Cool Ideas VPN Server(s)

Not sure exactly what's going on, but my League of Legends packet loss has been at its lowest since joining Cool Ideas :) Ping's also at a rock solid 174ms from Pretoria.

During the biggest cable outage in 4 years? That's pretty cool. Do you have a server IP ?

Would love to check it out.
 
I think the IP address for League of Legends EUW is 104.160.141.3 and EUNE is 104.160.142.3, but I'm not sure if these are outdated.

I'm struggling to connect to the Singapore vpn from Pretoria
 
does the jhb-singapore vpn still work? would be cool if we could make this a feature more permanent

Well from my side I stoped using it since it stopped sometime in August I do see above I posted and asked and it never worked after that again when I tried. The session being low I'd say is that like only a few of us knew about it whenever I told someone they were shocked, take into account NLD being problematic more or less at the time which caused me a few disconnectes I remember I just gave up and ran Warp exclusively

We can turn it up again. If it makes sense, then we don't mind. But if there are 5 people, obviously not worth the effort :)

Understandable i think majority of the VPN users left Cool Ideas when the DDoS and NLD issues were happening, i only know 1 person left on Cool Ideas they all left and they were all users of the VPN from what i know.

I resorted to just using ExitLag again, due to the ability to just tunnel that specific exe to a specific country

You should email your client base about the service and asking for feedback versus relying on a user's self-discovery from a forum post.

Well, the idea is to start here on a trial and see from there. If the uptake here is small, then the realistic uptake at scale isn't worth it.
 
This again proves how non-technical I am.
I am with CISP but I have no idea how to 'set' my whatever up to try this and where to put in usernames etc
OR what this would be used for, Gaming?

I'd say the uptake was small because the amount of people who saw it was extremely small. If you mention to most people on here there is more than 1 thread they would be shocked... I had a few people in my gaming circle on CISP of which most of them are on here and only knew about the main thread I had to link them here
