cell c speedsticks

we recently purchased 3 cell c speed dongles with 3 gig
we tried using in various parts of durban jhb and the kzn south coast with disappointing results
in some cases it just never works

we are being told that a technician will call to assist

Thanks alot man,ill hold on upgrading my expired mtn contract until then...for now ill just run it month to month.

Finally I can have some fast internet at reasonable prices.

Hey China , I'd hate to see you getting your getting your hopes up and then be smacked down back to earth but I was told the exact same thinng 10 months ago and look at our Woosh 10 months later,it's bloody none existent looks like I was taken for a Poosh. Screw CC I'm moving on to 8ta!

I did sent you the link for the Myzone update ?
I hope i did please let me know if did not.
Besides that link i sent.
The normal Cell C dash board will only work on the speed sticks.
And MDMA will only work with speed stick as runs through the ports not Wifi.

On the latest MyZone update you are able to check balance in the Embedded web server.

Does anyone here know the GPS co-ordinates of a Cell C tower in White River.....if there is one?
If not....co-ordinates of the nearest Vodacom tower....I need to get on the roof and start aiming my directional antennae around.

When will White River be getting full Cell C coverage?

What is it about Rustenburg that makes them SO ineligible for HSPA coverage: are they too big and so need to be put back while you lot vroeter around with the smaller towns; are they too big (HA!) that you can't implement until you've got enough revenue coming in from everywhere else. Or have you just abandoned them to the tender mercies of the red devil and the black monster?
 
CellC data in Fishhook

Anybody know if the data coverage in Fishhook is any good? Grandpa wants to buy granny an iPad and I'd prefer them to have prepaid data.

Any thoughts and suggestions welcome.
 
I am also in Rustenburg and the signal is horrible. What can be done Cell C???? Please help!!!!!

Why is it that there is no 3G coverage in Rustenburg?
I just got the Samsung galaxy S2 on activechat 100. Its great, love the phone, brilliant. BUT
I was told that in Rustenburg Cell c only offered EDGE and I thought I could live with that. I can get my email, pushed to the phone but anything other than that is just 'connection timed out'. No browsing, facebook, market place, anything!
And the cell c shop here sells the contracts and phones and data packages!!!! Now what? Starting to regret going with cell C
 
We've been promised Cell C's Whoosshh in the Rustenburg area for nearly a year now, though I think they should more correctly label it Whooops.

Last I heard Cell C was negotiating with landowners in our area (Buffelspoort/Rietfontein) to put up a connecting tower which would link the existing tower in Mooi Nooi with one in Rustenburg, thus completing the chain. But although I'm on the local committee which has been negotiating the siting with them, we've heard nothing for ages and fear the whole thing has stalled once more. Will keep you posted if we hear more.
