He should’ve have stood by and watched the guys get beaten uplike you and Stefan

Standing up for people when they are being bullied is wrong.

You mean he needed to chase after the guys in the the street to defend the guys from the clearly present danger they ground themselves in

So not only have you never said anything racist in your life, or thought of anything racist, but you have also never had a heated exchange with anyone, or had a fight with anyone, or stood up for anyone.

Quite the exciting life you have led.

I could probably add never touched a drop of alcohol, never been to a nightclub or bar, never been out with friends to that list.

I fully understand. Furthermore, I'm old school and all for idiots getting a good klap when they're looking for it. I just don't think what Stokes did that night qualifies as defending anyone.

@Pegasus

I think @Speedster and @stefan9 are so anti-England / English they will find anything to bash England sports teams and players.

If it was any other player from any other team they would not bat an eyelid.
 
Stokes did a dumb drunk thing but is it really still a big deal? Over and done in my opinion.

Joe Clarke is different.

Yeah but pretty sure it’ll affect his selection anyways. Having a guy like him in the setup will probably be disruptive while the ECB are trying to grow the women’s game.

If he is a good player, England will be stupid not to select him, England and the ECB need to start winning on the cricket field.
