So ummm thanks for the emails :) just one question, when will I get my invoice so that I can pay you? Historically the email arrives on the 23rd but I haven't received it yet... My guess is that it is still being typed out :P.

Oh and congrats on the new thread :).

Invoices will now be sent on the first of the new month.

If the emails you sent out have dates for fixes could you post them here for people that are thinking of joining CW?
Time frame is from the 26th - 30th of this month. Iirc it is mostly aimed at the South and Premium uncapped accounts. I've just skimmed the mails though and there are probably more info in the mails.

Why have I not received any emails?

My guess is that the servers are under a tad bit of strain at the moment... They do have a lot of emails to send ;). My suggestion, if you don't have them in the morning then pm CW asking them to resend. Side question, have you checked your spam folder?

@CW missed that part my apologies :). Btw welcome to the crazy train new person ;).

Yeah I've checked my spam folder, nothing. Anyway, will check back in the morning.

Did anyone experience any authentication issues from 10pm last night to 6am this morning?

Edit: Randburg region

I got the two emails, this awesome and thanks for the feedback! What I like about it it is that it acknowledges the issues and tells us what are being done to rectify them with estimated timelines! None of the other ISP's do this! Well done!

Question. If invoices are SENT on the 1st, then payment can only realistically be done on the 1st or 2nd...so would reflect in your account on the 2nd or 3rd respectively.

What is the cut-off date for payment?

EDIT: Payment period is 3 days from invoice receipt.

I also couldnt find the emails but then I found them. Crystal Web emails are being classed as Promotions by the Gmail app.

I am a bit peeved that the deadline has been shifted again, but I get that Telkom can be useless sometimes

Only managed 4.5GB in this morning's download window - ±25% line speed :/

So confirmed we wont be cut off on switch over to the new month?

@ cw

Can you confirm if there were shaping or problems with streaming home capped Cape Town last night. Buffered every 5 min 10 mb line.

Youtube streaming was up to sh*t in Cape Town last night.
Im on Home Basic uncapped. I got about 30 minutes of nice fulll HD streaming and after that videos barely even loaded!
If I log into my account portal, I am on 5 stars, so there shouldnt be any issues at all.

So I got curious with everyone checking out their Youtube stats with CrystalWeb and various other accounts. My backup 1GB account is smoothly streaming at 2500kb-odd meanwhile CW is struggling to maintain 1200kb. Also I have noticed my torrents are never above 250KBs. Although I must say that they never dip below 150kb.

I do know that there are differences between an uncapped account and a capped account, but you'd expect a 4mb line to perform slightly better than 1200kb especially if it is only one person using the account at that time.

I think it's time to look at alternatives again, last night and this morning I experienced sub 800kb streaming speeds :( CW was extremely good but now it seems that it is not anymore.

What happened to "We will never take on more customers than we can handle" or something like that
