Busy moving traffic. It's another international cable issue by the looks of things. That's a tentative diagnosis though. May change, and may be something unrelated but points to a cable fault at this stage or interconnect/DC issue. Traffic starting to move over redundant links for now for affected customers...

The links appear to be coming back up now as well, guys. So should be routed normally and everything should be back to normal very shortly...

Ok doesn't appear to be cable related. We can all breathe a sigh of relief on that one

See that is what I expect from my line, but my line is never breaking 4mbps ... it's really frustrating

Which package are you on ?

Thanks for checking for me :)
No prob. I'm on the Crystal Clear Home Capped. Performance wise, it's fantastic. If you're on the same data type, then I would imagine there may be something up with your line.

I am on the Home Premium package.

Apart from slightly lower than usual SNR (8 instead of 10) there is no other issues, I get full download speed and browsing is great.

Sigh, I got a hold of the Telkom Rep on MyBB, but have not heard back from him yet.

Ask our support staff on chat to see if they can spot anything up with the line for you. If it's not going past 4Mbps then it may be something related to the port. It's even easier if the line is migrated to Crystal Web...

I asked support yesterday and they asked me to run MTR, which I did and they said all is good. I requested a port reset but after spending R100 airtime just to try get a hold of someone at Telkom, I decided to just PM TelkomZA but have had no reply.

I would love to set my line with you, this may sound insulting but, I am still in the trial phase and testing many ISPs and it makes it easier being with Telkom for now. (the pro-rata they slap you with when going back to them is a pain as well)

If I cancel a line then re order it, do they install a brand new line or re-use the old one?
