I've never heard of Fritz!Boxes before. I don't see anything on their website that mentions security features. If I had a Fritz!Box would I be able to see historical data usage for all users on the network?

How does the VIP system work? Do users still retain regular access to their router, with the ability to access other ISPs?

@Crystal Web Management, as far as I understood you where getting rid of the "premium" wording of the business uncapped accounts. Its still says premium on the site.

They are amazing devices. And yes you can see traffic across multiple devices but we are still customising new firmware features here (we can do this now by the way) and historical may not be there immediately. And yes you retain full access, and we push updates and configs, and we pull support data from the device. The mesh networking devices are incredible by the way. If you want gigabit wireless with amazing coverage it is mesh all the way, and these are the best in terms of price/performance that we have tested. And they also support live data to see which devices are using what.

I am not aware of anything in this regard.

Well, the site works on Windows 10 Edge Browser.

I can see where you're coming from with the design - at first glance, it's quite disorienting to see so little on the page (kinda like when Windows 8/10 first landed).

The one that I think is missing is an easy way to compare packages to each other - it also feels like one click too many to get to the Pricing sub-menu/slider control.

Let me clarify. In the e-mail that was sent with the big green spreadsheet, the old product such as "Crystal Web Premium Business Uncapped 10Mbps" was going to be changed to "Crystal Web Business Uncapped 10Mbps".

So on the website under "Crystal Web @Work > Uncapped" it still shows "Premium Business Uncapped".
So was this change dropped, or ?

It is intentionally minimal in its design to not overwhelm, and to emphasise that it is simple to use. We believe the process is intuitive to get to any bit of info but yes there are a few too many clicks here and there, but that is often the problem with embedding information into intuitive patterns and processes.

Because each product operates so differently to each other, it is tough to build a single matrix that is easily understood without having to have a dozen FAQs/product descriptions linked, or an overwhelmingly single one. We're always happy to take some input and feedback in this regard.

When you click through the Telkom FTTH options and click through to pricing, the "pricing click here" link takes you to the CW Uncapped page? Is this by design? Can one only buy CW Uncapped if you're on Telkom Fibre?

It was subject to a fair amount of thought and while not dropped, it is being reserved for something else. What was in the announcements is what you see on the site there.

No worries - just giving you feedback :D

You can use any package on Telkom fibre, and because we have separated them out between capped and uncapped it seemed a likely option one would be looking for. But any standard account will work, which was the intent of that part of the transition through the website. I'll suggest Shaun look at ways to make this more intuitive, as he built it.

Good to know. Was just checking :)

I hope you bring out a product that will fill the R1599 price range that the 10Mbps Business Premium was at.

:D - I figured that to be the case - was just pointing out that because the link takes you to uncapped, it's implied that only uncapped applies (even though it says clearly in the text before that you can use ANY of the packages) - just a bit confusing for people I reckon. It might make more sense to provide either a couple of links or link the 'burger' menu in this case.

I should point out that while the mobile data last mile is provided by the MNOs, the actual internet breakout happens over our network, so we can customise things and have some decent flexibility here.

You're 100% correct. It may even be better to link to a set group of the most popular packages for fibre which include capped and uncapped to make this process more intuitive.

Thanks for the feedback. Feature change 3 from mybb has been submitted.

A few comments on the new web page. Please take this as constructive as I have nothing but respect for what Crystal Web is trying to do and this is only personal preference, and not necessarily something that would bother everyone.

1. The flashing tiles on the home page seems to be refreshing to quickly, if the messages gets any longer people might not be able to read a full message.
2. The burger menu seems almost hidden, not even on the normal page were one would normally expect it.
3, Landing on the page, there is no quick why to identify crystal webs products. For me personally there were far too many click throughs to find any useful info for me personally. Going to the map which seems the logical flow after landing on the crystal web home page, it seems that only certain parts of joburg is covered, and only when you search is any relevant info displayed. This might discourage clients from going any further as it seems only certain areas are covered.

Website looks okay via Chrome, but on mobile seems like a bit too busy, or maybe just too much things added
