And I was told that I'd have to be manually moved over to the new infrastructure before getting a new password. So it's quite possible that the passwords that have been leaked are all from the old infrastructure, because it was still possible to specify your own password back then, IIRC.
A self service portal would of course sort this out :)

No the hacker is not justified.

A whitehat would inform CW with respect to the vulnerability found not spread fear, uncertainty and doubt.

Well call it appreciated then.

I personally don't mind this hack coming to light if it shows up a case of negligence on CW's part.

Dammit, my password from a month ago is on that list! Data still going off my router so password hasn't been reset.

I never got a mail but this has me very concerned. Please could I send a PM to someone who got the list to see if my name is on there? Going to change my password anyway but I want to know.

Told they're batch changing passwords ....... I'm more worried if banking deets and ID has been compromised tbh :erm:

You personally don't mind, even though the promised future leak includes personal details that could be used for fraudulent purposes?

Ugh, would someone mind sharing the list with me via pm please.

Not sure what to make of this now... Some level of leakage was acceptable, but PII is a whole new level

you don't need the list. just contact customer support and reset your password if you are that concerned.

My info was in the previous hacklist.

I changed my password on the 25th of June 2016.

I am not in this latest leak.

Understanding what info has been compromised is important here. Resetting a password for an ISP account only remedies one issue, not the issue as a whole.

I guess this was their next big announcement. -_-

Badum tss

100%

It's understandable that we are not getting any official communication from CW for now. They are probably trying to gather and digest all the facts first. But I do expect an official announcement and what has happened by cob.
