Yeah I've done that a few times. I'm on Business uncapped premium 4Meg.
When I switch to 2Meg uncapped web africa, I get constant ~200KB/s constantly. Capped account full line speed.
 
I don't know what Crystalweb did on Friday, but since Friday night my connection has been awesome in Cape Town. YouTube is working flawlessly! I hope it stays like this.

I did send the request for debit order through to the email but I have received my details and nothing on the debit order? I need the email so I can pay for it starting next month and be able to use the account...

Just want to know if anybody here has switched from an uncapped premium account to maybe a capped option? would just like to know if the speeds you are getting are better than on uncapped?

Would like to maybe try a different CW option before I actually move to another ISP :) so far I have enjoyed CWs service until late.

Also CW could you guys explain the difference with regards to network prioritizing with regards to home/business capped?

If you asked me last week I'd have said don't...performance was pretty bad.

However since Friday past things have been aces on streaming. So hoping it stays this way now.

My streaming is pretty bad again since about 19:00 tonight.
It was fine all weekend, but it barely wants to work now.

Seems to be all over. People are screaming over on the AH thread, and its pretty much the same on all the other ISP threads. Something else must be up.

Maybe JZ has taken offence to the video that went viral and is now blocking the interwebs! :)
 
My gaming latency this evening was perfect as usual.

My fellow SA gamers had various lag / spiking issues from all different ISP's and connection methods on different games!

Something definitely seemed wonky today for them.

I'm referring to abysmally slow speeds in CT. I have accts with CW and AH and both are unusable. I certainly wish I was talking crap.

In the first post you mentioned that it seems to be all over which it is not, I only see two people complaining about speeds in this thread...Secondly why not go on live support and find out what's wrong with your internet? Just for interest sake what account type do you have?
 
Account ran 100% the whole weekend. Zero issues of any kind.

Now for the real test...a Monday.

Only issues i had was the following

1. Saturday morning streaming the rugby on Supersport I could not get HD and it buffered a lot
2. Sunday afternoon NNTP download was shaped to 250 kb/s on 10MB line

Easy on the shaping on the capped accounts please :)

Now for the real test...a Monday.

So far so good, 12mbps to UK thinkbroadband speedtest, just like old times.

If that drops way down for me, It usually confirms shaping.
