Give up on Torrents, move to NNTP
I have been having slow internet speed for the last 2 nights in a row.
Getting between 512k and 4 meg speeds on my 10Meg line.
Tested with Telkom account and no issues at all but Crystal Web guy says I am the only one complaining and he can't do anything about it. They say everything is fine on their side, like the problem has to be on my side.
Asked them to cancel my account.
ja no problems with IPC capacity or general network matter so any problem is unique to a specific customer
Give up NNTP, move to HTTP.
There's no "torrent" element for the ISP by using a torrent to HTTP service. These's services are shaped (as they are treated as torrents, don't ask, we had a long discussion about how it isn't in another thread) by CW and I have no problem with the shaping during normal hours.
BUT the shaping doesn't release after hours, which is the time we're supposed to be downloading files at full speed. Having to wait a few hours for a 250mb file is a waste of my time and resources.
CW rep, why has this not been sorted out. I've been told multiple times it would be sorted out. Can I get an official response? Is that too much to ask?
Just tested now as well, got no issues on a 4mb line Home Capped lined. Not saying that the others don't have issues, just saying that it's not all doom n gloom at CW: Speed Test
