Just switched over to my new Crystal Web account. It flies for a few minutes and then stops working until I reboot the router. Wtf?

Also, I had to change the DNS to Google to get the account working at all. Does Crystal Web have its own DNS settings?

Edit: Seems to be staying connected now.

Glad to see that it's stable now - I've PM'd you our DNS Server addresses, although it should be working fine on automatically assigned DNS.

My account got de-prioritized for downloading after a rather excessive download spree. :D I've now set downloads to only be active from midnight to 6am to keep everybody happy.

My question is: How long does it take for my account to be removed from the *****-list and downloads can proceed again at speeds greater than the 50 - 100 kBps I'm limited to at the moment?

Internet slow!!!! Whats up???? Trying to stream formula 1....was fine last night

Working fine for me on Supersport's website, albeit not in HD. The quality is a Supersport issue though - checked using multiple ISP's.

Streaming is fine my side as well. Would really be nice if people could stop jumping to the conclusion that it's the ISP's fault. Check out your line first.

Line still slower than usual. All my streams not up to scratch. Got better eventually...speedtest was half the usual speed.

Do you guys use a friends details to stream SS?

My connection is as fast as I could hope for, and streaming is excellent on Youtube and UnoTelly. Sounds like your line has issues.

I'm using my own DSTV details to stream Supersport.

On what line?
I don't ever see Supersport reduce quality beyond HD anymore.

I see WA's prices have dropped significantly, gloves are off.

199 for 100gb, and 1000gb after hours.

Granted no premium news server or unlimited midnight express (6 hours of download time means a very very very small portion of users could actually benefit from this to use more than 1000gb within a month of afterhours downloads), but most users will look at this deal as being far better, bang for buck wise.

Wonder if CW is going to come down a bit in response? ;)

10Mbps. It looks like this on pretty much all the streams for me:

It's watchable, but nothing like the high quality it used to have.

Edit: Reduced the zoom level slightly and it's more watchable. I guess this is the best they offer now. It used to be so much better...

If you're on 100Mbps fibre, you can do a huge amount of downloading from midnight to 6am every day. But sure, most people don't need more than 1TB of midnight downloading.

Web Africa does have outstanding prices now. R899pm for 500GB with 1TB midnight data, compared to R949pm for 425+GB on CW. I also see that they've updated their fibre bundle prices too - R1748pm for 500GB 100Mbps is the best price I've seen yet for Telkom fibre.

I'm not too worried about the discrepancy tbh. CW is R50 more per month, but you get really awesome live chat support and a premium news server. I'll only switch if 425GB turns out to be insufficient for my household (first month on CW, and first month being capped).
