Is it possible to get a static ip address on the CW vumatel offering?

Your IP address will pretty much not change. I've had 2 since I signed up - and it only changed cos I asked for it to change.
 
What is the difference between Basic Uncapped and Premium Uncapped?
Basic - has a download and usage threshold that is pretty low.

Premium - only becomes shaped when network takes a hit with streaming never being shaped. Ever.

Premium is the way to go if you're a heavy user no doubt.
 
We're busy making some changes to get it back up. We did update the network notices. Should be back up shortly.

So I have fibre but no connectivity :P (Me and my first world problems)
 
Well all is not well with Vumatel/CW Fibre.

Local is incredible. International is a ball of ****.

Browsing IMGUR was much faster using DSL than this

We're busy mitigating attack traffic from international sources meaning some services take a little hit while we're forced to do this. I wish we didn't have to do this but it is necessary at the moment.

Fair enough - if you sent a mail out / put a notice up saying international is taking a hit I wouldn't have complained. Just a thought?

If we publicly disclose the information about how we're doing this we put ourselves at more risk. It's not all international traffic. Only some traffic is impacted and intermittently. We do have a network notices section in our info box on our website and a page for live updates as well as twitter updates.

I saw your latest test result to the handover point where it only tests to Vuma's handover to us and the upload side is very low. Something is not quite right there either in your TCP settings or perhaps on the router.
