Yum,

So I've gone from 100GB to 150GB and the price has dropped from R279 to R249 :D:D

and of course the uncapped from 00h00 to 18h00 until the end of the year.

Very berry nice!

Thank you CW

Likewise ....... much happy. Super sexy CW, super sexy across the board. Please do ignore the mweb shill and other assorted moany pants, they're just sad beings.

Just hope the cheaper prices and new uncapped data times don't impact the performance.

There are no plans for small Xtreme Home Capped packages at this time.

You might want to reconsider this if you're serious about economies of scale. I for one am a light user - only pay R130 a month, so it doesn't make sense moving to you as much as I want to.

Also, I like self-service, so not having a portal is another reason I haven't signed up.

Good job to the CW team on the product development. I've had great service from them over the past 2 years and it's really exciting (and as an old client, scary) to see where they'll go to from here.

@Crystal Web Management:
1) what is the turnaround time for changing products (upgrading and downgrading), and
2) is there a deadline for changing products (I'd assume some T&C's for going to a cheaper option)

Will definitely be testing CW's mettle w.r.t. getting fibre in my area; something that other providers have dismally failed at.

No, but we are looking in to this on premium uncapped. The problem is that rate limiting involves splitting bandwidth, so the two wouldn't concurrently run at full speed.

Thanks.

Wouldn't be looking at full speed for both connections though - its for a context where I want to share my home account with myself at the office (the office account would be a secondary one so any bandwidth reduction suffered at either location as a result is not an issue - that's how Vox does it - they split the bandwidth (in realtime?) between the two)

We are certainly considering that usage scenario. The portal is planned to launch (an alpha) first week of next month but is one we redesigned from the ground up. Previous outsourced devs caused us endless headaches so the entire project with them was scrapped and rebuilt.

None of these products are live yet so cannot be switched to immediately. They go live next week with other launches and our ordinary Ts and Cs apply to these so there is nothing out of the ordinary with respect to upgrading and downgrading. We buy our capacity in advance so that planning and billing happens on the 19th, so any time before you can downgrade. Upgrades can happen any time.

We can always accommodate this sort of thing on a case by case basis if need be.

I save R140 pm on my 150GB package and with the free daytime data I am very happy.

Keep up the outstanding service CW

You'd have to be an existing client to get an upgrade, so yes we're rewarding some of our clients with free product upgrades.

The pricing you see in the mail applies to everyone. New and future customers.

Woohoooo :)

So this is what I'm doing now thanks to CW... Telkom now upgraded my exchange to 10meg, so this costs me R125 extra... CW slashed their prices so I'm upgrading to uncapped home premium 8MB/s for R70 extra... all in all R195 I'm getting double my speed(was on 4MB/s)...

THANK YOU CW!!! :D cant wait for the other announcements and what else I can get from you guys...

Why not go capped and get the full 10mb speed?

And take his line over and save a bit more...

With the issues in Telkom moving lines, id rather just stay where I am because sometimes they just cancel your service and I really need my internet.... I'm sure that i'll get close to around 8mb as I'm abit away from the exchange, so 8mb should suffice... but will check the stats when my line is upgraded and then decide from there...

I tried for months to get my line in the holding pool. Telkom kept saying that it was there, and CW live chat kept saying that it wasn't there. I gave up eventually. Not even visiting a Telkom store helped.
