ok... I'm happy to say/accept that, but I'd expect the throttles to open come midnight. and not have the 18:00 - 0:00 throttle or whatever still be in place.

Back to preference/schedule in uTorrent and schedule all torrents to do nothing until 0:00.

@Crystal Web Management - Any ETA on a fix for the capped profile issue?

5th day yesterday that I was only getting 50% line speed. Also local pings are pretty horrible with random and weird spike. The ping issue also exists on WA funny enough. When I used my VoX account it was A-OKAY. So something there is also screwy.

*sigh*

EDIT: well damn. Even Mweb has some good offers on now with their new pricing...CW PLEASE don't make me go to another provider!

Everything was solid till this morning on my Home Capped Extreme, hovering on 600kbps avg on a 10mb line.
I'M DOWN to 5kbps Seriously now!!!! :(

no issues this side. still getting the same full speed low latency as before the changes.

You are lucky, I was at 150ms thinking lets try a router reboot during a timeout, got back in yay for 300ms

Its not just on CW from what i'v seen because i was with mweb last month and my ping was also going much higher than usual on cs but not 150ms bad.

I am trying to find the official valve servers IP's @ mweb to troubleshoot. Anyone have a reliable list or method maybe ?

You can use netlimiter to check the ip of the server that you are currently connected to. The ip of the server is also listed in the console after you connect.

Lowest I get on a 10mb line is 900 KB/s, averages around 986 at the moment.

Yeah I have been doing that, but its a one at a time, if a can find the netblocks I can route them via alternate connection

Anyone else in the Western Cape having problems at the moment (10h38).

Chat on CW site not responding
On the Support line at the moment listening to dreadful muzak

Edit: Got through - apparently it's a "lost carrier" error which means I have to contact Telkom to see if the line is down.

Port reset sorted it out. Weird - first time that's happened to me.

Is there a specific reason the Peak and Late totals have been removed from the usage e-mails on my Capped service now? First we can't access the portal, now you take away the only way to have SOME idea of how our usage looks like...

Only getting around 480kb/s on the xtreme capped account on a 20mb line. :(

Should I expect the Usage Reports to be fixed automatically or do I need to log my own ticket?

I suspect that these are all teething problems with respect to the new profiles and the way in which the data is extracted from the IS logs.

It's in their best interests to get it sorted asap, 'cos if they're unable to do so, or unable to give you a mechanism to monitor your use of the capped portion, then they're going to have a hell of a difficult time of it with those customers who burn through their cap.

This is on CW - I'm trying to ensure that I don't I don't have anything running that will cause my normal 18h00-00h00 usage pattern to change - if by mid-month I suddenly get a usage report that sez my cap is close to exhaustion...well, that will be an interesting discussion with CW.

PS: Can someone repost that link to the IS site where we can see our usage please.
