Hangon, can someone give a brief explanation on the CW news server? I've briefly browsed the last 200 odd posts and can't find anything.

Hi all,

An email should be in your inbox shortly from Shaun and everyone at Crystal Web regarding the international issue and the resolution. Thank you to everyone for your continued support, patience, understanding, and encouragement. We hope that the solution will be acceptable to everyone, and go to show our level of commitment to delivering the best possible internet experience in South Africa.

Crystal Web Team

For those of you with similar patience issues to me, please click here - http://eepurl.com/WcZhX to see the mail...

Heh. And you won't believe how high and much I jumped up and down because Afrihost refused to do this, even after they've admitted to having issues for *months* in Cape Town. Problems, which are still not resolved.

+1 to CW... But I'm happy and ok with the throughput I'm getting ;)

I have not received your email, but I have sent one asking to be moved :). My wife & I have some Netflix we would love to catch up on :).

*edit*

Haha :). Not even a minute after sending my email did I get Shaun's email. lol

As per the mail, they will be rolled out over the next 72 hours...

Care to tell my wife that? :p She will be making my life miserable if the line is not good enough for Orange is the new black. :p /Also there is only so much cake this/masterchef that/home improvement shows that I can watch... :p

Keep up the great work guys. You have no idea how happy I am to have a ISP that is honest and open about their inner workings. Just because of the attitude on here I am more than happy to accommodate any issues you guys may encounter. Please keep up the good work and the calm attitude :).

I'm not a customer (yet) but the constant feedback and honesty is refreshing to read.
Also glad to see that the hunger for success is not clouding the owners judgment and decision making.
Well done and keep up the good work.

I second this
I *might* need to make use of the IS backbone, but I am going to sit tight for now, I am sure others need the bandwidth more urgently than I do.

A question.

Was the reason you guys didn't want to go with IS because you had to follow their shaping policies and weren't allowed to do your own?

We haven't "not gone" with IS...;)

As for the current early bird products, which are just a small taster of the Crystal Web product suite, the product management process was far more complex than the question you're posing. In short, yes and no...
