Current Speed on MWEB Uncapped 4096 ADSL :(

Looks like shaping is applied even after hours. Torrent speeds are really slow
 
Will be off MWEB soon really sucking atm...back to axxess express+ even with the stupid T&C from IS

Mine show'd a 1000% increase in speed... I managed to download more in that last 3 hours than I have in the past 48 hours with the @dslmweb.co.za

Dude. Mweb is just one of the backbones that GOLD has available. Ask to switch to the vodacom or Neology backbone.
 
Im having lots of problems with gaming on my mweb uncapped 4m. Been speaking to Nathan Adams who has been very friendly. However the issue has not been solved. It seems that after 6pm some shaping kicks in that causes everything to slow down and also causes huge ping spikes in games. Can't even skype with it at times. I was told to switch to @mweb.co.za instead of @dslmweb.co.za but was also told that this will negatively impact my downloads. On axxess lite account I have no latency/speed problems at all.

I reported problems like that on a
regular basis and was told it was
the nature of MWEB uncapped. The
SAIX link does help, but it's only
temporary.

Yes, the alternate bandwidth is temporary but you can still use it until such time that we inform you to switch back

Its not Mweb 4meg uncapped.

Its Mweb 200k uncapped but shaped to **** 24/7

I think even the 384k users are able to download more than me. I dont mind being shaped for 12 hours of the day, but in the other 12 hours at least let me ****ign download SOMETHING. who the **** buys a 4 meg uncapped line to browse HTTP.... honestly. get with the ****ing program Mweb.

Dude i had the same issues, i cancelled this is my last month with these idiots top speed on my 4 meg uncapped is 21kbs

It looks like it's too late.
Zorko, just make sure you get your
money back.

MWEB seems to be making a habit
of continuing to take it out. You can
go to the bank and put a 'stop' on
the transaction.

I've been experiencing very poor speeds of late. The 24/7 shaping is clearly evident.
I've already phone mweb support, told an expert will call me but haven't received a call.
