But everyone knows the Lions only know how to defend a slim lead ....... so 19 unanswered points is null and void when it's Lions as opposition :D

If you say so :D

Good luck for the game against Western Province by the way, rooting for the Sharks for this one :)

A semi-deserved win for WeePee ..........

IMO, both sides got done in by the lack of any reffing ..... he seemed a bit on the soft cawk side no? Along with dodge decisions and a general lack of some laws. Along with not all the matches being televised, sub standard refs used makes for some stuffing up of the CC.

Also, I have to say, I don't have any faith in this B team of the Sharks ....... not having playmakers in the key positions is gonna lead us to not retaining the Cup this season unfortunately

I know Murphy's Law dictates that I should wait until the Sharks have finished playing and beaten WeePee but I can't help myself but .........

Haha, the Bully Boys almost got beaten by the Lions ..... not really any type of game to be proud of either :D

Haha you are something special! You are so full of yourself and you are so critical of a team that actually managed to win, but when it comes to your own team not able to win, you seek out the excuses of which the number one excuse has always been then ref. It seems that the Sharks can never loose without it being the ref's fault

The sharks was just not good enough - admit it.

Um, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realise that if a team loses then they are not good enough to win! ;)

It is the first game of the season. No need to write off the Sharks yet. But there were a lot of "star" players missing from he Sharks whereas the WP team even had their overseas import on the park.... and they got to play in typical Cape winter conditions.

Mieliespoor ........ how did you manage to gather from my post that I was blaming the ref? I specifically stated that BOTH teams got done in by the ref .... meaning he ruined the game for BOTH teams. The reason why the Sharks lost is that WeePee were the better team on the day and our B team is not looking good at all.

How you managed to come back and call me a piece of work for blaming the ref is your problem .......

I hope the Bulls vs Lions game is not what the CC is going to dish up this year because it was utter crap. Seems people are a bit tired of rugby after the S14 and B&IL tour as spectator turnout was very poor. Loftus crowd attendance is a good test/standard for the health of the CC competition. May the competition and quality of play get better soon.

I hope you are joking about some matches not being televised.
The Sharks had no gameplan or structure, WP had a gameplan "General De Waal" and that worked for them.

This is how its going to be, Sharks and Bulls in the CC final at Kings (ABSA) park.

It was the first one and the CC generally only starts going smoothly after about the forth weekend or so. But I have to agree, the game between the lions and the Bulls was not a pretty one.

Vrystaat lost yesterday if im not mistaken.

Go bulls! And I hope the weepee wins tonight.

I isa genius! :D
