It all starts next week with the Boland hostring the Leopards in Wellington.

The rest of the weekend look like this:

Fri:
Boland v Platinum Leopards Boland Stadium, Wellington 15:30
Vodacom Free State Cheetahs v GWK Griquas Vodacom Park, Bloemfontein 19:10

Sat:
Vodacom Blue Bulls v Xerox Lions Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria 15:00
Vodacom Western Province v Sharks Newlands Stadium, Cape Town 17:05

Got a feeling the bulls might struggle a bit with half the team up for the boks and us not having that strong a 2nd line, but im sure we will make due and some new players will show us that they aspire to wear the green and gold one day :)

Think the top 4 spots will be hard fought for.

Good luck to all the teams (except when they play against the bulls :p)!

Yay, back to certain games not being televised ....... or I should say, certain teams getting more games televised than other ones

Bulls not that strong 2nd line? Are you mad? They made the Vodacom Cup final. With a few Super 14 players coming back they will be a force!

Pretoria kry weer die Currie Cup!

I wish I could believe that buuuut the cheetahs play with an almost unchanged S14 side, as does the lions... :D

Lol, but we have miles and miles of heart :D

Gooooo Bulls!

Is it just me, or is the Currie Cup only organized after the Super 14 ends, as an afterthought. Up to now there have been no schedules, no word about Currie Cup. Then someone suddenly woke up and hastily organized the tournament in a day or 2. Only a matter of time before the Currie Cup disappears, it's not shown any respect until very late in the season.

You guys amaze me. The Currie Cup is a couple of days away and nobody say a thing on here!

The Sharks has got a couple of Boks back (I think 8) and the Bulls has got 4 that they can use, although only three will start this coming week because Guthro has got leave this week.

It will certainly be a HUGE opening weekend since there are 2 big games being played!

Vrystaat lost yesterday if im not mistaken.

Go bulls! And I hope the weepee wins tonight.

.... I do all mah saying in the only place that matters, the Sharks thread :D

.... your ass

I know Murphy's Law dictates that I should wait until the Sharks have finished playing and beaten WeePee but I can't help myself but .........

Haha, the Bully Boys almost got beaten by the Lions ..... not really any type of game to be proud of either :D

Agreed. But scoring 19 unanswered points is not something to be taken lightly either. ;)

But everyone knows the Lions only know how to defend a slim lead ....... so 19 unanswered points is null and void when it's Lions as opposition :D
