Anybody else experience an issue where DStv Stream cuts out and requires a login every 15 minutes like clockwork?
I’ve contacted support twice now and after an hour of troubleshooting some basics (reinstalling the app, disconnecting and reconnecting devices, logging in and out etc) each time they “escalate” the issue but nobody contacts me back.
Anybody experience something similar and found a fix?

Apple TV with the tvOS app, but I have the same problem when streaming on my iPhone.I haven't experienced this issue on AndroidTV (currently on 6.4.0 because playing recordings is broken on 6.5.0).
What type of device / OS are you on though? AndroidTV / LG / Samsung / Hisense VidaaOS?
Iphone/Ipad streaming no disconnect issues there. Also streaming Android TV/ Mi Box ... no disconnect issues either. As you've said... might be account related since you have it on multiple devices. Since it's repeatable, might be worth it going to a service centre if it's within reach. If you have access to someone else, maybe try and swop detail, running their working account on your device and your problem account on theirs. That would eliminate/proof device/account issues. And NO, you can't use mineApple TV with the tvOS app, but I have the same problem when streaming on my iPhone.
I think it’s something server-side on their end and not specific to my devices but maybe to my account. Tier 1 Support agents seem unable to solve it and I think the escalation to more technical Tier 2 guys is getting lost or discarded.
I was hoping I’m wrong and that somebody here might have had something similar and know how to navigate this support maze.
New weirdness seen on some of the SD satellite transmissions.
Involves very unconventional fiddling going on with the following SA channels, let us know if you notice anything unusual with them (more likely with older SD decoders);
112, 120, 135, 136, 137, 171, 174, 179, 181, 182, 184, 190, 299, 302, 309, 327, 411, 435
Other believed-parallel work started many months ago, seems on all the (SD?) channels.
My guesses to date are some sort of additional coding / alt. system offering / new security / data or transponder use compression being messed with. Appears to mostly involve some of the British-sourced channels.
So far only chs. 190, 299 & 327 practically giving problems on and off, but maybe not on all models.
Fascinating..
Interesting, how do you pick up or know this? Or is that confidential...

Yip ...Anyone else noticing weird gaps in the guide?

Sometimes channels just flat out don't exist. Tried on different browsers and different machines. Same thing.

Been going on for weeks. Apparently affecting things like Kodi's access as well.
Try accessing 2 weeks of info, some days it just gets stuck, others it's a horrible mess.
But I prefer to use the List version (one channel at a time, whole period) so may differ.
Eish. DStv web devs on top of things as usual...
