You could try a course of supplements , they don't work immediately , normally takes a few days or weeks for them to take effect.Im struggling to sleep because of my depro now it is what it is

I am sorry that you find yourself unable to retire. I think many of us are going to find ourselves there one day too. I know that I probably won't stop working as long as clients need our services. I am glad you are recovering from the op and hope that it will be an easy adjustment.I have just turned 75 and had to have my heart valve replaced two weeks ago.
I have always suffered from depression and used and abused alcohol as a support for many years, sober now for over 30 years.
Depression is a killer and after the op feel very down and out at the moment, keep saying to myself that this will soon pass.
All the thoughts that go through my head are so negative.
There were complication after the op and I spent five days in ICU.
I am scared still but keep saying to myself " THIS WILL PASS"
Thank goodness I still hold down and a great job and the MD said to me the other day that everything is good, take your time and come back when you are ready, the whole company is standing behind me.
NB I cannot afford to retire.
"TAKE IT ONE DAY AT A TIME."
"Bless you all that are going through depression" I can fully understand what you are going through.
I have walked in your shoes.

Home is supposed to be your safe space. I am sorryGoing home is like walking into a butcher shop. It's cold, dark, dead and lonely. When she looks at me it as if I'm looking into an empty void.
You have to try & elaborate bro? What caused the change/shift?Going home is like walking into a butcher shop. It's cold, dark, dead and lonely. When she looks at me it as if I'm looking into an empty void.
It is a very tough week. I have managed to get on the cancellation list with the therapist.
Also what wasn't cool yesterday was a certain company rep here taking offence at my comments when they were mainly me joking about a problem I've learnt to live with. I deleted the posts that offend but I mean, play the ball, not the man.. Jissis!
I want to pull the trigger on my own DIY thread, but, with me being so personally embedded in what I do, I am worried about it leading to doxxing and other vulnerability from the unhinged on this forum (never mind the scammers)
It's no joke living in SA. Meds help somewhat. Exercise helps A LOTWas having a casual conversation with my Psychologist recently and she mentioned that the amount of clients that are on medication or self-medicating is increasing. More and more people are feeling the stress of everyday life in this country and seems there is no end.
What can we do when our environment keeps deteriorating and it's not just "in your head". I've been focusing on my diet and taking walks and meditating but feels like it's no longer enough.
Like how much exercise? I walk around 10km per week but see all the deterioration in the neighbourhood which I think is having a negative effect on my mind overall. I bought some exercise equipment a while ago but never got the motivation to actually use it.It's no joke living in SA. Meds help somewhat. Exercise helps A LOT
What's going on, brother? Some more info, if you don't mind.Going home is like walking into a butcher shop. It's cold, dark, dead and lonely. When she looks at me it as if I'm looking into an empty void.
