I received 5 plays this morning. Money, Drive, Activity, Bonus play for all three targets met, and another bonus play for having more than 100 reward points that converted to miles.

Lucky you, only 3 my side. Hopefully 4 from next week.

Well I asked why did some people got 5 they said it could have been your previous goal cycle finishing late and wasn't aware intime and this you got it the extra week?
 
No insure cash back yet either - So I got 3 spins, 300, 75 and 70 and then obviously 100 for each goal. My total is 745 which is what R74,50. So close to normal maybe slightly less considering I wont get 300 next time.

I can confirm that this is not the case in my situation... Unless: I had two plays last week, and while playing the game board, my tiles gave errors and my two plays were not returned. I did, however, get Discovery Miles that was awarded for the two plays. Someone somewhere might have stuffed up and provided me with two more plays because of last week's drama, and haven't picked up the fact that I got awarded miles instead of reward points :-)

Yeah I also got miles and new "replays" last week, so was likely that.

Also only received 3... But did the whats app chat and the bonus play that i did not receive is loaded for next week now

We definitely worse off.

I got 100x2 for reaching health and banking goal
For my plays today I got 75+65+50+55
Total = 445.
That will buy me 445/150 = 2.96 coffees.

In the past 4 plays would have gotten me at least 4 coffees i.e 25 points each.

PS! I think my maths is correct

Well you need to add the instant 100 miles.per goal as well (instant when you achieve them)

I got 3 plays and got 180 DMiles. That’s worth R18. Even if I get all 3 rings closed, I’ll get a maximum of 4 plays next week. That means an extra 300 DMiles (R30) and an extra play. Max I could’ve won was 95 DMiles. So that means R30 + R27,50 = R57,50 in DMiles. Before I would get a minimum of R75 with just 3 plays, most times more. So much for the ‘enhanced’ program, Discovery. And this is what a Diamond on Health, Drive and Money gets! So glad I didn’t opt for the iPhone. I won’t be tied into a bank that does this. 23% less benefits! I’m no actuary, but I can use a calculator!
 
What a load of bollocks. Used to get min 25 points before = 1 cuppa coffee.

Today i get 1 spin and 50 miles. so 1/3 cup of coffee. What a load of bollocks.

Only reason to keep meeting the reward is the R125/month for my running shoes.

But yet again - they reduce the rewards.

You forgetting 100 miles for obtaining the goal. So it's still equivalent as the old system for coffee.
 
How do I add a non vitality traveler to my booking?

I want to book flights for me and my wife to the usa, but want to add my child which is less than 2 years old.

Child is not in vitality, I cant seem to find the option.

Do i make the booking and phone emirates to add the child?
 
The new numbers for Vitality rewards are massively reduced, there are a lot of people suggesting that the rewards are somewhat similar given that the new system now gives you a 100 discovery miles as a bonus when you earn the reward on top of game spin and that there is now potentially and extra play for players who score all 3 circles in a week. But the following needs to be taken into consideration when calculations for equivalency, when all is taken into consideration the new reward system is really reduced to a fraction of the previous benefit.

First mis-representation of values occurs in the value associated with previous benefits due to the new cost of the cheapest reward, on the old system purchasing the coffee or the popcorn cost 25 reward points, the new cost of this same reward is now 150 miles, this is misleading many users to think that 25 reward points equals 150 miles (or 1 vitality reward point = 6 miles.) When looking at the broader picture and all the other reward tiers equate to 1 vitality point in fact equals 10 miles. So you lost about 40% of your value in the conversion.

Or more simply put (coffee's aside) 1 vitality point used to be worth approximately R1 which is now the value associated with 10 miles.

So now looking at what this translated to earnings on the game board.

Best case scenario works for those earning all 3 rings as they get the extra play the numbers are even worse for those who don't have access to all three.

Assuming you got all three rings then you would get a bonus 300 miles (R30)
Game board values are between 50 and 100 miles (R5-R10) on (4 plays the maximum possible is 100 + 90 + 85 + 80 = 365 or R36.50) (minimum reward is 50 + 50 + 50 + 55 = 205 or R20.50

Therefore your earning on the game system will be somewhere between: R50.50 and R66.50 per week.

On the old system with only 3 plays you used to get a minimum of R75 and a maximum of R250.

If you only ever spend your points on coffees then you would your would be earning slightly better on the low end your new point value would be worth R84.16 and your maximum would be worth R110.83 comparatively.

And none of this takes into account the value of diamonds which have also gone away and where potentially worth an awful lot more.
 
I got 3 spins instead of 5. A quick phone call to Discovery and its resolved. Next week i am getting my 2 outstanding plays. 5 in total, provided i dont mess up my drive goal for this week.

This is somewhat a misrepresentation. It would be more accurate to say that the minimum reward for a play is still 1 coffee. However you used to be able to earn up to 4 coffee on a single play before, now you can get at best 1.3.

Why the 5th one? I was told the the extra that you get for achieving all three goals will only be from next week?

Because 1 less this week carried over to next week will equal 5, it's only 1 extra next week, not 2.
