Voice notes are terrible.

"Hi, I need"

And then a list of 20 + things they want done/on/made/whatever.

Yay so now I must first turn your voice note into a list or memo so that I can complete the task?

Voice notes are far too plebeian for me. I prefer voice to text if I can't type it out myself.

I've realized that most service providers I've used (in Alberton) send voice notes. The pool guy, gas guy, roof guy, all of them.
My Whatsapp status is "Don't call, I won't answer", and I stick to that unless it's someone important

Only if I'm trying to have some naughty time with someone and their preferred method of messaging is using voicenotes... Voicenotes still annoy me personally though.

A Voice note is not a WhatsApp call though.

I prefer an actual call to speak to whoever in person.
I'd prefer anything other than actually talking to someone on the phone.

Text is best but will leave a voice note if the message is long, also if I want to make sure that the tone is correct.

Also if I'm driving...

They send voice notes when I don't answer
I don't mind it really but then I hardly get one once in a while. Also, so far, I have received voice notes only after I didn't pick up the phone. It makes sense to me as they are trying to save your time perhaps ? Why is it annoying to you if you don't mind me asking ?

Nah. Nothing better than talking to a person. If I have the opportunity, in fact, I would rather drive to a person and speak in person. Even better.

I have a weird psychological thing with noise. I don't know why I hate voice notes so much, but I'm guessing it's to do with the fact that I have to unmute stuff to listen to it.

Short and direct ones yes, preferably with friends, kind of odd when business people do it, don't like it then

Another personal favorite is listening to other people's voice notes while taking a kak in a public toilet.
I wonder if the women in the notes ever think that the whole world can hear them. If you send a voice note you are basically asking for that to be broadcasted.

No. If I wanted to hear their voice then I would call. The wife constantly receives these from her friends and it peeves me off because it takes over the room when it's played...
