I can just say what most of the other people said. I have never received bad service from them. I once had a customer's laptop for repairs. He needed it again the following day, so I worked on it till about 23:30. The hard drive was tickets. I did not even know the guy had a warranty(neither did he). I decided to phone their support line regarding the info on the install partition.
I did not really expected an answer that time of night. I called the number in SA, but the lady that answered had a heavy American accent, the call was patched through to the USA. We actually struggled to communicate, because of her heavy American accent and on the other side my heavy Afrikaans accent.
I explained my problem, she asked the serial number, confirmed the customers name his farm's name and address. She then told me that the laptop was under warranty and that a hdd would be delivered the following morning delivered from Jhb, before 10:00.
I did not even come close to believe her, but at about 08:00 some technician phoned me, apologized that he won't make it for 10:00. They did not know that Kirkwood was about 80km from PE and it was never factored in that I was in the platteland.
Instead they changed the time to 14:00. 14:00 came and so did the technician. He installed the new drive, installed the OS and apps, while I sat there talking to him. I did nothing, he did all the work. He did not even check the old drive, but he did take it with him.
I think you were just unlucky, try again.
