@Cell_C is there no way to come up with another solution to get a Esim (online etc)?

Finally got a lift to Greenacres branch and they said no they have to order it
You have closed all your other stores in PE
Hi there

Unfortunately, for the time being, our E-Sim Cards are only available at the store.

Steps to do so? Having the same issue on an iPhone

Edit managed to fix this by turning off Roaming and Mobile Data Switching. Home Connect Flexi isn't for roaming it seems

Hi Pho3nix

Is this still working for you? Got an esim this week for my iPhone 12 and having the same issue, not able to connect to LTE, only 3G. Called customer service, they say the Voice & Data option should show 4G where mine shows LTE as an option.

You need to disable Roaming.
Signal is also an issue to be honest and the Home Connecta deals seem to only work with LTE which is another issue :/

Yep only on lte :(

Will be better once it's all on mtn.

On Android you can hack it to force lte only.

Hi Phoenix,
Just a question, did both your numbers activate in iMessage.

I just recently got my esim, and im struggling to activate my imessage on my e sim number.
The physical cards number does just fine - but the e sim fails immediately.

Do you have the same?

TIA

I just got my e sim from CellC The Glen,
Amazing service.

However, I’m struggling to activate my e sim number on iMessage.
My physical sim (number) is activated on iMessage, but the esim’s number keeps failing.

Did anyone else experience this?
Cell C says they have no idea whats the problem?

Any advice?
TIA

I went to the Cell C store in Howard Centre, Pinelands, Cape Town this morning.

There was alot of back and forth discussions about what packages I could do on prepaid - apparently I can't take the Home Flexa story on eSIM with Cell C as this is a LTE only type package.

Eventually the staff decided that it would be best for me to go the 'month to month' deal.
So, 5GB for R99 (SIM only)

This is very frustrating because the staff of the Cell C store are saying one thing but then something else is possible.
I just need data on my eSim (as much data as possible) for as less as possible.
Emergency Workers don't earn a fortune ;)

Have you considered the 50gb for 6 months deal at R500?

I actually have been thinking about it since I left the store.

Just make sure the sim works fine with normal data before spending all the bucks.
I'm currently struggling with my Cell C eSim even though I'm in a area with coverage while my MTN one works perfectly with 5G even.
