Favourite hangover cure...

Some nutritionist told me that drinking a lot of sugar water the next morning helps, as it replaces the electrolytes stripped away by the alcohol and prevents dehydration. I don't know if he was pulling my leg or telling the truth - I was too drunk to tell at the time :D Come to think of it, why would alchohol remove electrolytes? It is a non-polar substance, after all, isn't it?

I would also like to know....
Here are probably the three most common
And last but not least

Go to your local chemist and get a B17 injection (lovely vits ect to boost your system) then you'll have something else to worry about...The Needle...

ibuprofen is a pain killer.. but i think it works in a very different way to aspirin.

Thought it was similar to aspirin chemically but can't remember the specifics now :)

Ah ok, my mistake Ibuprofen is in the same category as Aspirin, "Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs".

I have an evening hangover. Bah!! Tried drinking two litres of water and nada. Off to the pub!

Really? I did not know that. What is the difference?
They have many similarities, but they're two different chemicals. In my experience ibuprofen seems to be more commonly used for pain in combination with inflammation.

Alcohol has a diuretic effect. Those fluids take your electrolytes with them.

Yes, but it kills off all the old and sick brain cells first. The ones you don't need anymore :)

Hmm - brain cell culling? SO drinking actually improves your brain's environment. :D
