Out of respect for your privacy, I'd refrain from posting pictures. I've been there, on-site, the whole time, and I can categorically state:
1) Your wall was an issue before they even began to trench. In fact, you where dead set against the trenching, as a way to "get out" of having to claim from your insurance to fix your wall. They didn't cause your wall to move, your wall was moving LONG before they trenched. It is also more than likely due to the wall moving, that the tar is cracking (and I suspect this is in a small corner adjacent to your wall only, that may have a small crack). Not due to their bad workmanship as you are making it out to be (I'd be more than happy to take another walk there, and get some new photos too if I have to);
2) Not only was the tar re-instated (correctly) where they trenched, they lifted and retared your ENTIRE driveway, way more than what they where required to do - and frankly, they did a damn good job of it. Not only at your drive way, but also the other two that they had to trench;
3) In terms of your wall - just for the record... Electrical cable (twin and earth, as you used for your lights in your wall), is legally required to be inside CONDUITS in the ground - completely. Not only the first 10cm of the cabling going underground, the entire cable. You are not allowed to bury twin and earth directly into the ground as you have done, and it is completely illegal. Secondly, such electrical cable must be on YOUR side of the wall (i.e. in your property) and not on the council's property (road reserve) where there has been trenched. If we hit a cable and got electrocuted, you would have been in serious, serious trouble, as you are responsible for it;
Please - we've been through this before when we wanted to trench. Don't make your wall having issues with it's construction our fault. Go talk to the builder, whom not only does not know how to do proper foundations for your wall (and we know, we dug it up), but apparently also has a complete disregard for electrical safety, and take it up with him. I do suggest however, that you get your electrical as well as building issues sorted out. I'd be happy to contact the building inspectors on your behalf to come and have a look at whether your wall's foundations is built in accordance to what has been approved on the building plans too (which I highly doubt from what I've seen when we where the trenching).
Just FYI - there's another cable (as well as duct more than likely) on it's way - two actually depending on how long into the future you want to look... Thankfully there's road reserve belonging to CoCT and you don't really have a say.
