First election results in

Zuma's worst fears? The fekker is on his way to buy a presidential 777 and has been voted in again fir another 5 years. Life is good for him.

The signs are already there, I don't know why he greeted everyone at the results center except EFF, but that might be a tell tell sign of bad blood between them. Unless if I'm seeing wrongly?

Was in line voting at 630 am four ANC supporters waring those disgusting leather jackets were drinking beers . After they finished they just left the bottles on the floor in the line. Bloody pigs

Maybe with the next local elections the DA will take Port Elizabeth.

If they can concentrate on Theescombe and Motherwell/Kwazikele they should have it in the bag. I am really surprised at their (DA) progress in the metro. I saw yesterday that Uitenhage and Despatch were sitting at around 80% DA votes for most of the voting stations :p

The Kouga municipality has been taken by the DA as well. Some wards in J-bay, St Francis Bay and Humansdorp reporting an 80%+ DA vote :)

One thing which I've noticed is the DA has gained some massive ground in the western part of the Eastern Cape

You just have to look at this image to see how the DA is expanding...

Funny how the IFP is still around in a few parts of KZN

Wow a million + votes for Juju.....impressive. I see they won Marikana. Will they be another COPE though as I see them dissipating after this election.

completely disagree... there won't be leadership battles that cripple EFF.
I think that the only thing that would break the party is jail time for Julius - he's by far the driving force behind it

Or they could be the next opposition? The ANC will lose many more millions to them. Dangerous times we are headed for if they become the next opposition

In a positive light - the DA has grown massively since 2009. They should not be disappointed with these results. Next local elections I think we will see more growth from them. I am also happy ANC are sitting at 62% and not 66%

I said I bet the ANC will get 62/63 percent.
However the DA needed to take Gauteng, this was the most important thing IMO

Well we will never know will we? :D
All these ballot papers in the trash and all

Might have made a difference. But I doubt it. Maybe next elections (2019) we will see DA grow some more and finally take GP like the WC.

Put those numbers into a mathematical machine and ANC comes out on top if we input 'unaccounted' votes based on total number of valid votes cast.
