Ford Focus 2017 or equivalent? Help requested.

I've had my 2017 Focus Sedan Ecoboost for about 6 weeks now. And I really enjoy this car.

I would've liked the Techno Pack just for added toy value.
But I smaak this car stukkend.

The engine and gearbox are things of beauty.

Never lacking for power.

This weekend I'll I finally get to take it on a bit of stretch from home to Langebaan and then Caledon.

Urban driving, along with a few stints to Franschoek has my consumption with OBC at 6.1L/100km.
Gripes. Rear blind spots are weirdly dodge:p

If you are looking at the Ford Focus - check for the 1.5L Ecoboost over the 1.0L Ecoboost. I drive a 1.0L fiesta with the powershift in titanium very well speced. I drove a Kuga with the 1.5L Ecoboost Auto and that engine is so much better. I know that exact engine is available in the Focus cause a friend of mine has the 1.5 Ecoboost.

Thanks guys, shake&bake wow that's a throw back, haven't run into you on the forums in yonks!

Yeah man. Don't have much time to spend posting anymore :o

My 2017 Demo with 36000 on the clock came in at R192600 all in.

So I've put in my application for finance at a dealer. 175k for 20k on clock, 2017 model with mags. Missed out on a stunner for 170k with leather interior etc as the finance for that took 3 days and the car was sold to someone else. Hopefully next week they'll ring me with some good news, and I hope they offer a decent trade in price on my car.

I work from home so don't do too much driving which is why I don't want to spend too much.

Thanks bois.

Since you won't be driving much I'd suggest that you buy a car with higher than average mileage as the price is normally lower for these cars.
When it comes to selling time, after a few years, the car will then have lower than average mileage and would get a good price.

Consider a Honda - Ballade or even Jazz. The latter is very roomy.

Sounds good, hope it works out.

Gimme stats on the 2017 vehicle, model & spec etc.

I would look at the Kia or Hyhunday brands.
