Seems like the install new firmware a LOT! If your hardware vendor constantly has to issue firmware patches, it's time to move on.
OR...they're not patching their hardware correctly and are far behind. Who the hell knows with Frogfoot...?

The problem is they are the only fibre provider in certain areas so people are stuck

For sure, and that's the issue. But service like this is pathetic of the highest order. And no apologies whatsoever.
I mean, our service had been returned to full use on Wednesday by 7AM. 9:30AM I got an SMS stating there was an issue (2.5 hours AFTER the service had been fixed) and by 1:45PM I'd got an SMS stating the issue had been fixed.
It had been fixed for over 6 hours by that time.

Is anyone else also not getting full speed lately?

I noticed there is a bit of packet loss the last day or so.

iperf Done.

Yeah it's bad. Can't stream the premier league games at all. YouTube is also slow.

It's been on and off all morning, no indication on their website if there's anything going on

all clean my side. perhaps evening congestion issues creeping up again?

Seems to be happening again. My streaming IPTV buffering like crazy now at 7pm. Haven’t had any issues for months maybe more than a year.

Speedtest to CT shows 50 down and 200 up so there’s definitely an issue somewhere.

still clean my side. perhaps certain areas struggling due to loadshedding

Sigh. It's weekend, so of course there has to be another Frogfoot line issue. No connectivity since Thursday morning, in fact. Looking at the history of issues I've logged with my ISP, I see that on 27/09, 07/10, 11/10 and 20/10 I logged no connectivity issues. And in the time I've been with Frogfoot, most of the issues have been intermittent connectivity or no connectivity. There's never an ETR, either. Undependable fibre. Telkom LTE is looking good. Slower, of course. But perhaps no line issues that will impact connectivity.
