I'll be doing so. If they replace the ONT, it would be the second time. *sigh*
 
Had a short disconnect around 1pm - now back to 12ms to CT. Will it last ? Will Trump leave the White House ?

In fairness, my connection has been fine for a couple of days now. Not sure how long it will last, but I'm making hay while the sun shines. Will that jinx things?

At least we had about 9 hours of good latency. We should be thankful we are getting internet at all with the way things are going

Had a good game of BF3 last night off a Russian server with a 180ms ping which was awesome. So at least I've got that going for me...
 
Its going to be a busy week for the Lorraine area, maintenance every night from tonight until Thursday.

Really hoping we will be back to 10ms after this.

Anyone else have 11/12ms to some AWS servers in Cape Town and then 16/17ms to some others and 22/23ms to others?

Anyone on Vumatel? I see they bought out SADV who have a box on our wall. I will look into moving from Frogfoot next year onto Vumatel once the installation fee has been paid off.
 
I have been having recent correspondence with Afrihost on Facebook and they have been very forthcoming. This is the answer I have just received from them and share it with the forum for comment.
We have no issues reported in PE that clients have provided sufficient evidence for Frogfoot to investigate. Regular maintenance happens in that area which is normal. If any client is willing to troubleshoot, this will help. ^Ani
