depending on area, I've had some friend's newton park side that have issues now and then.... but overall, 100x better than FF.
 
Latency up the pole, 40+ms to 1.1.1.1 which tells me there is a NLD failure.

Been slow the whole day.

Anyone know what is up with all the latency changes the last 2-3 days ? up down up down.
 
Anyone down in Lorraine?
Frogfoot says my line is up and active however no connection - ISP is Vodacom.
I don’t see any outages reported
 
Yeah yesterday was terrible. Constantly dropping and general connectivity issues.
 
Yesterday we were down most of the day due to an incorrectly spliced cable.

Earlier today a small local isp posted the following on our community chat group:

"Dear client, contractors hit a low 7-way duct where Frogfoot contractors took shortcuts. Frogfoot has been notified of the outages and we are waiting for Frogfoot to respond. "

Thus today is horrors again. It is so bad lately that anywhere along their fibre lines from Cape Town to Durban a problem occurs it affects us. Really, really bad situation.
 
I'm in the Garden Route, my Frogfoot fibre with Telkom as ISP is down yet again - for the third time in 24 hours. I'd rather poke myself in the eye with a sharp stick than try and get hold of Telkom support so I logged a fault with Frogfoot. Again. We'll see who gets the blame this time.
