Na man. 3 years ago I would be quite upset with anyone thinking of buying Apple hardware unless it was recommended by their Boss.

Nowadays, with the M1 chips. If you have the cash, You DON'T play video games and you want a pretty screen, nice metal body and a perfect battery life. Only R17 000.

M1 chips are a hype and overpriced. They are really not that great beyond general tasks. Anyways, have already tested it on the software I use and it performs poorly. Even the Lenovo Flex 5 beats it like a pulp. The apple workflow is also a pain in the backside.

Macbook Pro 16, sure, I'll take that. It's a beautiful machine. But at that price I can go Dell XPS or Asus ProArt Studiobook.

very interested in this comment. Would you buy again from this or any other online shop if the delivery part is the problem? I would think that an online shop would want to ensure their logistics partner improves their service and not make it more difficult to get repeat business.

Nope delivery is a big part for me so if it leaves a bad impression I wouldn't use them again even if their customer service is great.

Why not a desktop? Laptops throttle and limited in terms of upgrades and expensive to fix etc. Not many good options in that price range unless you want low to medium settings on AAA titles. Or consider a used / demo. Lenovo Legion, Asus ROG, Omen

Or budget lappie Asus TUF or Acer Nitro or Wootbook

Sometimes a laptop is just more convenient than a whole desktop setup. Besides if you want a complete setup for 30k with monitor, keyboard, mouse etc. you'll be looking at entry graphics anyway. So for a equivalent to a Legion LOQ 15 with a rtx4060m you'd have to spend more than the 30k budget.
