In fact, I'm posting this from it. Awesome little gadget. I'm very impressed with it.

My screen is quite close to perfect. One barely noticeable white stuck pixel. No other problems yet.

So, yeah, quite happy.:D

Got the 16GB, and yeah...apparently you're lucky to get only one. ;) It's only noticeable when I REALLY look for it, though, so it doesn't bother me all that much.

Had one ages ago, sold it got the iphone.
Still have a 16GB iTouch for R3500 with cover, jailbroken, no stuck/dead pixels.
Btw, stuck pixels can be "fixed"
Get 1.1.3 firmware, has iphone like features for the touch

:D I know. I just got rid of it. :)

congrats. but now on a more cheaper level. my boss bought a philips gogear 4mg mp4 player from hi fi corp. he wanted me to put some things on it for him the other day and the damn thing would not go on so i told him to take it back. yesterday he brought in the new one and put it on charge and when he got home he wanted to put some stuff on it and the damn thing went up in smoke. R1300.00 for junk.

I was playing around with one at the Apple shop yesterday.
Quite a nifty gadget, although my fingers are a bit big for that keyboard.:(
Got ADSL, so can't use the browser, otherwise I'd consider getting one.

You could get a wireless router or share your mac's internet connection via the airport card. :)

How do u get the internet to work on it, do u have to subscribe to a wifi service?

Heh, only saw this now. Been pretty busy. I've got a wireless router at home, so I use that here...and then as soon as I have a chance I'm going to swing by my University's IT department and see if I can climb onto their wireless network with it.

I'm still enjoying it immensely. :D

The photo and video capability is pretty good, and the browser.
I'm not too interested in having a portable mp3 player.
If it had 3g or gprs for the browser, I d get one.

Guess I'll be an iPhone buyer if they were legal.

They are legal, they're just not supported by Core.
I'm wondering . . . . dont all cell phones used in SA have to be approved by ICASA?
